A set of unpainted plastic figures in 1:72 scale from Zvezda. The package contains a numerous set of foot figures in many poses. The figures are meant to be separated from the sprue, assembled and painted; bases are usually included.
The set represents ancient Persian infantry, traditionally associated with the elite guard known as the Immortals, of the period of the 5th to 4th centuries BC. The soldiers are armed with spears, bows and wicker shields and wear the period dress of the Persian empire. The subject matches the era of the Greco-Persian wars.
Separate the figures carefully from the sprue and clean up the molding lines. Use cement for plastic to glue them. Apply a base coat (primer) before painting; do the varied patterns of the clothing with a fine brush, and a wash will help bring out the folds of the fabrics and the wicker shields.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
