Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the French two-seat biplane Potez 25 in the version with the Salmson 18 CMb engine, in 1:72 scale.
The Potez 25 was a French single-engined multipurpose sesquiplane (a biplane with a smaller lower wing) of the 1920s. It served for reconnaissance, for light bombing and as an escort machine and it became the standard aircraft of more than twenty air forces. Around 2500 examples were built in France and it was also produced under license in other countries. The Salmson 18 CMb version was powered by an unusual water-cooled Salmson radial engine of around 520 horsepower and was among the first production forms, used above all for reconnaissance and training. The type also drew attention with long-distance flights and victories in the air competitions of the day.
A biplane calls for careful assembly of the wings and the struts, so check the angles and the symmetry before gluing. Glue the parts with a thin cement for plastic and the fine parts rather with cyanoacrylate. Bracing wires between the wings will do the model a great deal of good and can be added with a fine thread. Apply a primer before painting; an airbrush handles metal and fabric-covered surfaces well.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
