Pylons for the US Air Force Vought A-7 Corsair II with MAU-12 racks, 1:72 is a 3D-printed resin set from Reskit for faithful external store pylons of the American attack aircraft.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set contains external store pylons with MAU-12 bomb racks for models of the version of the Vought A-7 Corsair II attack aircraft operated by the US Air Force, printed from resin by 3D printing. The MAU-12 racks set the US Air Force machines apart from the naval version, which carried MAU-11 racks. It is a detail accessory, not an airplane model.
The Vought A-7 Corsair II is an American single-seat subsonic attack aircraft that served with the US Air Force and the US Navy alike. It was notable for the heavy armament load it could carry on its underwing and ventral pylons, whose exact design differed between the two versions.
Wash the uncured resin residue off the parts, carefully cut off the print supports and bond them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue); do the sanding with respiratory protection. Once a filler primer has been applied, you can match the pylons to the shade of the underside of the wings.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
