This plastic kit from the Polish brand First to Fight captures the German Pz.BfWg III command tank in the Ausf.D1 variant in 1:72 scale. Models of this range are conceived as quick to build, so even beginners will manage them, and wargamers have taken to them.
The Panzerbefehlswagen III was the command version of the Pz.Kpfw.III medium tank. Instead of full combat equipment it carried enhanced radio equipment and additional antennas, so that a unit commander could direct a battle and keep in contact. The Ausf.D1 variant is one of the early command machines derived from the initial versions of the Pz.III.
Separate the parts carefully and clean them up. The build is simple and quick, and on many parts a minimum of glue will do. Do not forget the characteristic antennas, which set a command tank apart from an ordinary combat vehicle. A primer, an airbrush coat and highlighting of the details with a wash and pigments are recommended.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
