A set of two large-capacity underwing fuel tanks of 1500 liters in 1:72 scale. It is a 3D printed resin accessory from Reskit intended for models of the Panavia Tornado in the F3, GR1 and GR4 versions. The tanks have the riveted surface typical of the machines of the Royal Air Force (RAF) and the Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF).
The Panavia Tornado is a supersonic combat aircraft with a variable-geometry wing. Large-capacity underwing tanks extended the range and were normal equipment on combat and training missions alike. The riveted version matches the British and Saudi standard.
Wash the print resin residue off the parts, cut them from the print supports and line them up. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Sand with respiratory protection and lay down a filler primer before spraying.
This is an accessory detail set, not an airplane model. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted; the glue, the paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
