Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the French Sud-Ouest SO.4050 Vautour jet attack aircraft in the IIA version in Israeli service, in 1:72 scale from Special Hobby. It is a short-run kit with a finely engraved surface, clear parts and decals for the Israeli Air Force.
The Vautour was a French twin-engine jet aircraft of the 1950s, built in fighter, bomber and multirole versions. The single-seat IIA version was meant above all for attack and bombing duties. Israel took the Vautour into service as one of its first capable combat jet types and used them to attack ground targets in the regional conflicts of the 1960s.
With a short-run kit, count on cleaning the parts up and dry-fitting them; use liquid cement for plastic and fill the seams. Paint the cockpit beforehand and mask the glazing. Fit the external stores last; bring the desert and natural metal surfaces to life by grading the shades and dusting lightly.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
