Revell 362 Greyish Green is a synthetic enamel (solvent-based) paint, not an acrylic. It comes in a 14 ml tin and has a satin finish — part of the Revell Email 300+ line. The paint does not attack modeling plastic, can be applied with a brush or an airbrush, and is thinned with Revell Color Mix, or mineral spirits. This is a modeling paint, not a kit.
362 is a gray-green — a greenish gray. It is not a pure green: it carries a distinct gray cast that makes it more faded, dirtier and more muted than the rich 361 Olive Green. That is exactly its strength. Pure green shades often look toy-like on a model; a gray-green, by contrast, looks like a green that has already seen sun, dust and rain — that is, more realistic. Against the dark 363 Dark Green, 362 is noticeably lighter and less saturated.
Stir the paint thoroughly down to the bottom before use — enamel paints settle. For a fading effect, try spraying 362 thinly and translucently over a more saturated green base coat. Always coat the area with gloss varnish before decals: on both satin and matte finishes, air gets trapped under a decal and the edges start to silver. Restore the final matte or satin look with a top coat only after the decals and weathering have dried.
Safety: flammable. Keep away from ignition sources. The fumes irritate the airways — work in a well-ventilated area and use respiratory protection when spraying. Keep out of the reach of children. Keep the container tightly closed.
