731 Clear Red/Rot

Revell Aqua Color 731 Clear Red

Clear Red is a water-based acrylic clear paint from the Aqua Color range in an 18 ml pot. It goes on as a transparent film and serves for tinting, that is for coloring a surface red while keeping it transparent.

What it is and what it is not

• It IS a transparent tinting paint for tail and brake lights, reflectors and transparent red effects.
• It is NOT an opaque red: it will not hide a light surface, only color it.
• The depth of the resulting red is set by the number of coats.

Use

• It is thinned with water; for an airbrush add roughly 20 to 25 percent thinner.
• It shows best over a smooth, light or silver gloss surface.
• It is applied with a brush and with an airbrush; the tools are washed with water as long as the paint has not dried.

Who it is for

For modelers who want realistic transparent red lights and effects without using aggressive solvents.

Keep out of the reach of children, ventilate when airbrushing and protect yourself from inhaling the atomized paint.
