Responsibility details are not available.
A resin model of the airfield tow bar for the MiG-25 in 1:72 scale from the Russian brand Temp Models. The bar connects the nose landing gear of the aircraft to a tractor and is used when the machine is moved around an airfield. Printing in resin holds even the thin lugs and pins. It is not an aircraft model but an accessory for a finished model and for a diorama.
The MiG-25 is a twin-engine interceptor and reconnaissance aircraft built for very high speed and great altitudes. It is a heavy machine with a massive structure and with landing gear to match, so the kit for towing it has a rugged design as well. In photographs from an airfield the machine tends to be towed both to the runway and away from it, because taxiing under its own power burns fuel needlessly with engines this powerful.
Release the parts from the supports with a new blade over a working surface; the lugs on the ends are thin. Sand the marks off with fine abrasive paper, wet. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Airfield equipment tends to be strikingly colorful, so that it can be seen, and scuffed at the same time, so after the base color suggest scuffs and dust the lower part with a pigment.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
