Responsibility details are not available.
A resin model of the airfield tow bar for the Su-24 in 1:72 scale from the Russian brand Temp Models. The bar connects the nose landing gear of the aircraft to a tractor and is used when the machine is moved around an airfield. Printing in resin holds even the thin lugs and pins that could not be made from a mold. It is not an aircraft model but an accessory for an airfield scene.
The Su-24 is a two-seat strike aircraft with a variable-geometry wing in which the crew sits side by side. It is a heavy machine that takes off with a large load, so its landing gear is rugged and the kit for towing matches it. In the tight spaces of covered shelters the aircraft cannot do without a tractor, because the blast from the engines would do damage there.
Release the parts from the supports with a new blade over a working surface; the lugs on the ends are thin. Sand the marks off with fine abrasive paper, wet. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Airfield equipment is scuffed and dusty, so after the base color suggest scuffs on the edges and settle dust on the wheels with a dry pigment.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
