The airfield tow bar for the Su-57 in 1:72 scale is a 3D-printed resin accessory from Temp Models.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin model of the airfield tow bar for the Su-57 in 1:72 scale from the Russian brand Temp Models. The bar connects the nose landing gear of the aircraft to a tractor and is used when the machine is moved around an airfield. Printing in resin holds even the thin lugs and pins. It is not an aircraft model but an accessory for a finished model and for an airfield scene.
The Su-57 is a new generation Russian fighter with internal weapons bays and with shaping of the airframe meant to reduce its radar return. On the ground it is handled like the other combat machines: a tractor and a tow bar fitted onto the nose leg serve for moving it around the flight line. Its shape matches the landing gear attachment of the particular type, so it is not interchanged between aircraft.
Release the parts from the supports with a new blade over a working surface; the lugs on the ends are thin. Sand the marks off with fine abrasive paper, wet. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Airfield equipment tends to be strikingly colorful and scuffed at the same time, so after the base color suggest scuffs on the edges and dust the lower part with a pigment.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
