Aqua Color - Civilian Aircraft Set

Revell Aqua Color, the Civilian Aircraft Set

This set holds water-based acrylic paints from the Revell Aqua Color range, put together for building models of civil and airline aircraft. In the package there are six shades of 5 ml each, from gloss white through silver and aluminum metallics to satin matte blue and gray tones such as appear on the fuselages and surfaces of passenger machines. Aqua Color is an acrylic thinnable with water, so it is worked with without smell and without aggressive solvents.

Use

• Stir the paints well before use, the metallics especially, because the pigment settles to the bottom.
• They can be applied with a brush and with an airbrush; for spraying, thin the paint with water or with the Revell thinner for Aqua Color, not with lacquer thinner.
• Tools and hands are cleaned with water while the paint is still wet.
• Metallics stand out on a smooth, ideally gloss ground, and are best applied last, as they are harder to overspray and to mask.
• For a richer and more even coverage choose several thin coats rather than one heavy one.

Who the set is for

For modelers who build passenger and airline aircraft and want a basic palette of shades together in one place. Thanks to the ease of working with water-based acrylic it suits beginners and advanced modelers alike.

This is a set of paints, not a kit. Work in a ventilated space and keep out of the reach of children.
