The injection-molded plastic kit Fokker T.V (Early) in 1:72 scale from Valom - the Dutch twin-engine bomber in its early form, with photo-etch and resin.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the Dutch twin-engine Fokker T.V bomber in its early form in 1:72 scale from the Czech manufacturer Valom. Besides the plastic parts the package contains clear parts for the glazing, photo-etched metal for fine detail, resin parts and a decal sheet with markings for Dutch aircraft. The combination of plastic, photo-etch and resin puts the kit among the more demanding short-run kits for more experienced modelers.
The Fokker T.V was a twin-engine bomber, known at the time as a flying cruiser, which served with the Dutch Air Force in the second half of the 1930s. It carried a cannon in the nose, several machine guns for defense and a bomb bay under the fuselage. Only a few were built, and they saw action during the German attack on the Netherlands in May 1940. The early machines differed from the later ones in details of the airframe.
Short-run kits tend to have heavier sprue gates and call for careful clean-up of the parts and dry-fitting before gluing. Glue the plastic with liquid modeling cement, cut the resin parts from their casting blocks and glue them with cyanoacrylate. Apply a primer before painting, finish the camouflage with an airbrush and place the decals over a gloss coat.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
