The B-13L rocket pod in 1:32 scale is a 3D printed replica of underwing armament from Temp Models. An addition to a model aircraft, not the model itself.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set brings a 3D printed replica of the B-13L rocket pod in 1:32 scale from Temp Models. The manufacturer lists it as a block for unguided rockets. It is not a model of an aircraft but underwing armament with which you complete a finished build; the printed rendition gives clean muzzles of the tubes and crisper edges, which with a rocket pod is the main thing.
A rocket pod is a casing with several tubes from which an aircraft fires unguided rockets. The B-13L block is built for large-caliber rockets, so it has five massive tubes and looks considerably more robust than the pods for small munitions. It is carried on an ordinary pylon under the wing, usually in a pair or several at a time, and it belongs to the typical armament of ground-attack aircraft and attack helicopters.
The parts are printed from resin and are held only by thin supports. Cut them off with a sharp scalpel as close to the part as possible, sand the marks down with fine sandpaper and protect your airways while sanding. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Paint holds longer on a smooth print if you lay a thin coat of primer under it. Paint the underwing weapons separately and glue them onto the model only after the landing gear and the cockpit are finished.
The set is an addition to building a model, not a model in its own right. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted, and glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
