A dark gray from the Model Color range: a water-thinnable acrylic, thick and highly pigmented, developed above all for brush application. It forms an even flat surface with good covering power. It is supplied in a dropper bottle with a volume of 17 ml, which lets you measure out drops and repeat mixed ratios precisely. It is a modeling paint for finishing models - not a kit.
For this paint the manufacturer declares the FS 36231 equivalence. The name Dark Sea Grey refers to the dark gray of British aircraft and naval schemes, where it forms the dark component of the upper surfaces; the same standardized shade also appears in modeling practice under an American designation (Vallejo lists it in the airbrush range under the name Dark Gull Grey). In practice it is a very universal gray: it works well on modern aircraft, on naval subjects and as the darker counterpart to light grays when building two-tone schemes.
For aircraft and ship modelers who paint with a brush and want a standardized dark gray with no solvents. It goes well with the lighter grays of the same range.
