A water-thinnable acrylic paint from the Model Air line, that is the line thinned for spraying at the factory, which can be applied with an airbrush straight from the bottle. The volume of 17 ml matches a dropper bottle. The shade is fluorescent red, which among paints is a category of its own: bright pigments have low covering power and without a light base they look dark and dirty. The paint is thinned with water or with the same maker's thinner, not with a lacquer thinner.

Always apply a fluorescent shade over a white or light gray base; over a dark base it loses its brightness. Because this is a paint for an airbrush, spray it in several thin coats until it covers. For a brush it is thinner than you need, so a thicker line is more practical for hand painting.

Who it is for

For modelers who spray with an airbrush and need a bright shade that an ordinary red will not give. It also suits small areas where the color is meant to catch the eye. One thing to watch: the fluorescent pigment fades in light over time, so do not stand a model with prominent bright areas in direct sunlight.

The paint is acrylic and thinnable with water. When spraying, work in a well-ventilated space and use a respirator; atomized paint is not to be breathed in. Close the bottle firmly after work and keep it out of the reach of children.
