A resin Kh-25MT air-to-ground guided missile in 1:72 scale from the Russian brand Temp Models. The resin print manages the thin control fins as well as the intricate rear end, which a plastic mold cannot handle in a small scale. It is not an aircraft model but a separate store to be hung under the wing of a finished model.
The Kh-25 family is built on a modular basis: a common body is completed with different guidance sections, and each version therefore handles a different kind of target and different conditions. On Soviet weapons the letter T at the end of a designation points to heat seeking, that is to a seeker that finds the target by itself from its thermal image. For the carrier that means it can leave the area immediately after launch.
Release the missile body from the supports on a work mat and without bending it. Sand the marks down with fine paper and wet sand, with respiratory protection. Wash the parts in lukewarm soapy water before painting. The window of the seeker head at the nose is done in a clear coat or a dark gloss. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue).
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
