Responsibility details are not available.
The set contains a 3D printed resin replica of the Russian Kh-38 air-to-ground guided missile, written X-38 in the supplier's name, in 1:32 scale. It is an accessory for the underwing armament, not a model of an aircraft. The print holds the angular surfaces and the sharp transitions that give a modern missile its characteristic look.
The Kh-38 is a modern Russian air-to-ground guided missile of short to medium range, built as a modular family. The basic airframe stays the same and the warhead and the method of guidance change, from laser and satellite to active radar. The missile is carried by modern Russian tactical aircraft including the machines of the Su-30, Su-34 and Su-35 families. The modular solution was to replace several older types with a single weapon.
First wash the 3D printed parts in warm water with a little dish soap, so that they are rid of the residue of printing resin. Cut the supports off with a sharp blade or a fine saw as close to the part as possible and sand the marks down with your airways protected. Resin does not bond with cement for polystyrene, so use cyanoacrylate glue. Lay a thin coat of primer on before painting, otherwise the paint holds poorly on a smooth print. Assemble and paint the weapons separately and glue them onto the pylon only once the varnish has dried, so that the fine surfaces are not rubbed.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
