A set of sensors and antennas for the Su-25 in 1:32 scale is a 3D printed accessory from Temp Models. It replaces the coarse external parts from the kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set brings 3D printed sensors, antennas and probes for the Su-25 ground-attack aircraft in 1:32 scale from Temp Models. It is not a model of an aircraft but the small external parts. On a model in a large scale these are the details that are clearly visible and that decide whether a finished build looks convincing.
The Su-25 is a ground-attack aircraft for direct support, which works at low altitude and within reach of the ground defenses. Besides the usual air pressure probes and angle-of-attack sensors it therefore also carries warning receivers and the antennas of the systems that warn it of being illuminated. They are placed all over the airframe, from the nose through the wing to the tail, and on a plastic model they tend to be simplified or missing altogether.
The parts are printed from resin and are held only by thin supports. Cut them off with a sharp scalpel as close to the part as possible, sand the marks down with fine sandpaper and protect your airways while sanding. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Paint holds longer on a smooth print if you lay a thin coat of primer under it. Hold the small parts over a dish while cutting them off so that they do not get lost, and glue them on only after the surrounding area has been painted.
The set is an addition to building a model, not a model in its own right. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted, and glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
