The set of sensors and antennas for the Su-33 in 1:48 scale is a 3D-printed resin accessory from Temp Models.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin set of sensors and antennas for a model of the Su-33 carrier fighter in 1:48 scale from the Russian brand Temp Models. These are the small protruding items on the airframe, which in plastic tend to be needlessly thick. Printing in resin manages fine sections, so the result looks natural at this scale. It is not an aircraft kit but an accessory for a finished model.
Besides the usual air data probes and communication antennas, the Su-33 also carries equipment tied to operating over the sea and to the approach to a deck. Navigation over water, where landmarks are missing, and precise guidance onto a short landing area place different demands on a carrier aircraft than operating from land. On the airframe this shows as an array of small antennas that a viewer notices only close up, but without which a model looks smooth.
Work over a surface and with tweezers that have smooth jaws. Cut the supports off with a new blade; never break them. Cut off the original plastic stubs from the kit and smooth the area. Fit the parts only once the varnishing and the weathering are finished, so that masking tape does not catch on them. Apply the glue with a pin in the tiniest drop.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
