HMM Zoids Color Setgunze

A paint set for Zoids kits of the HMM line

A set of shades that the manufacturer put together directly for Zoids kits from the line designated HMM. The point of such a set is simple: the shades are chosen so that they hold together on a finished machine, and the builder does not have to look for them one by one or mix them. That saves time and the risk that a second bottle bought will not match the first in color.

Who the set is useful for

Zoids are kits of fighting machines in the shape of animals, on which the paint contributes to the result as much as the build itself. Large smooth covers side by side take little chance, so a matched palette is worth more on them than on an aircraft or a tank. The set also suits anyone building other subjects who is looking for a ready-made scheme for a robotic or science-fiction model.

How to work with the set

• Stir each bottle thoroughly before use; the pigment settles at the bottom.
• Apply in several thin coats; one thick one floods the edges and the fine lettering.
• Lighter shades cover less well on dark plastic; a light base will help them.
• Spray the parts separately while they are still accessible from every side.
• Handle the thinning ratio, cleaning the tools and any clear coat according to the manufacturer's instructions on the packaging.
