Gunze Hobby Color matte white

A water-thinnable acrylic paint from the Hobby Color range by the manufacturer Gunze (Mr. Hobby). It is not a kit but a modeling paint in a small bottle, intended for painting plastic models, figures and accessories. The shade is a matte white — it serves well as a covering white area, as a base under light colors and as a component for mixing and lightening other shades. The paint can be applied with an ordinary brush and sprayed with an airbrush.

Use

• Shake the bottle thoroughly before use, so that the pigment is stirred in evenly.
• Apply it with a brush, or for airbrushing thin the paint with water or with a suitable thinner from the manufacturer.
• Cover in several thin coats rather than in one heavy one — white then covers better and does not run.
• Wash brushes and tools with water after work, before the paint dries.
• For durability the finished coat can be over-varnished with a modeling varnish.

Who it is for

For modelers of all levels who need a reliable matte white for painting models, as a base or for mixing shades. Suitable for beginners and advanced builders alike.

Use the paint in a well-ventilated area and keep it out of the reach of children.
