Responsibility details are not available.
LAC101 is a black paint from the set of shades prepared for the Little Armory line, that is for kits of weapons, gear and accessories. The attribute Alumite in the name refers to anodized aluminum: it is therefore not aimed at a deep coal black, but at the dark metal surface that aluminum parts treated by anodizing tend to have. The designation in the name places the item in the anniversary collection of shades.
Besides weapons and gear you will use it everywhere the metal is meant to be dark but not entirely black: frames, breeches, cases, transport crates or small metal accessories of figures. It also works well as a dark base under dry brushing, because over it the lighter metal shades hold the drawing of the shapes.
Stir the paint thoroughly before use. On small parts such as a barrel or a magazine the main trap is a heavy coat that floods the fine drawing of the surface; apply it thinly, and rather twice. Wash and degrease the parts beforehand, so that the paint does not lift off the smooth plastic. Choose the thinner, the thinning ratio and the exact procedure according to the manufacturer's instructions on the packaging.
The paint alone is supplied. Kits, figures, thinner, varnish and brushes are not part of it, unless stated otherwise.
