Meng Kids Tu-2 Bomber

Meng Kids Tu-2 Bomber - a simplified egg model, manufacturer Meng

A charming caricature kit from the Meng Kids series that portrays the Soviet bomber Tupolev Tu-2 in a stylized egg (super-deformed) form. It is not a scale model - the fuselage is deliberately bulbous and shortened, so the model has no classic scale. The parts are injection-molded in colored plastic and click together, so neither glue nor paints are needed for building. The package contains clear parts and stickers, and the model can be put together in a couple of minutes.

The real subject

The Tupolev Tu-2 was a Soviet twin-engined frontline bomber of the Second World War. It stood out for good speed, defense and bomb load and was one of the mainstays of Soviet bomber aviation.

Building and playing

• The parts click together - no glue, ideal for children too.
• Paints are not necessary, the plastic is pre-colored and completed with stickers.
• A more advanced modeler can paint the model and refine the details.
• A quick build in one sitting - fun with no demands on tools.

Who the model is for

• For children and complete beginners as a first model.
• For collectors of charming caricature little aircraft.
• As a gift or a relaxing build for a modeler.

The model is supplied unassembled. Thanks to the click-together joints no glue is needed; paints are not included in the package and are not necessary for building.
