Metallic Blue

Vallejo Premium Color - Metallic Blue (60 ml)

Metallic Blue is a blue metallic from the Vallejo Premium Color range - water-based airbrush paints with a hybrid acrylic-polyurethane binder. The shade contains fine metallic pigments that give the surface a strong sheen and depth. The paint has high coverage, keys well to plastic, metal, fiberglass and the flexible bodies of RC models, and is ready to spray.

Use

• Applied with an airbrush with a 0.3 mm nozzle or larger, at a pressure of roughly 2 to 4 bar.
• Stir a metallic thoroughly before and during spraying - the metallic pigment settles at the bottom.
• It looks best on a smooth, finely sanded base.
• Apply it at the end; metallic shades are harder to overspray and to mask.

Who it is for

The paint suits modelers as well as creators of custom projects, RC bodies, helmets and decorative work where a quality metallic sheen is needed. The Premium Color range is popular for its resistance to abrasion and impact.

Store out of the reach of children, ventilate when spraying and use respiratory protection.
