A green modeling paint from Gunze from the solvent-based Mr. Color range, the manufacturer's part number C006. A base green tone for the airbrush and for the brush.
Responsibility details are not available.
Mr. Color is a solvent-based modeling paint of the lacquer type. It dries quickly and forms a thin, smooth layer that does not flood fine surface detail. Once cured it resists abrasion and will take masking tape and further coats of paint and clear. It is precisely for that durability that modelers choose it as a base beneath decals and final clear coating.
It is a base green from the C number series, that is, a tone not tied to any particular military standard. You will use it where no specification determines the color: on civil and commercial vehicles, on small accessories, on gear or on the scenic elements of a diorama. It also serves well as the green component when mixing your own shades, because paints of the same range mix together without trouble.
Stir the bottle thoroughly before use, all the way to the bottom, where the pigment settles. For the airbrush, thin the paint with the thinner of the same range and lay it down in two or three thin coats, never in one heavy one. Do not use water for thinning. With a brush, work quickly and if possible in a single pass, because a coat that has flashed off will smear under another stroke. Work in a ventilated area and close the container carefully after use, or the paint in the bottle will thicken.
The paint will be appreciated by modelers who spray with an airbrush and want a firm, smooth undercoat. The package contains only the paint; thinner, tools and a model are not included, unless stated otherwise.
