Olive Green is the olive green of the Vallejo Model Color line. It is a modeling paint, not a kit - what you get is the paint alone in a dropper bottle with a volume of 17 ml. Model Color is a water-thinnable acrylic with a high proportion of pigment, flat and covering well, developed above all for the brush. The shade is a classic muted olive green - one of the most versatile tones in the whole military palette, whether as a paint on its own or as a base you tune to a given subject.
It is thinned with water or with a modeling thinner for acrylics - no solvent-based lacquer thinner. Model Color is the thicker line for the brush, so for an airbrush the paint has to be thinned; it is not a line ready for spraying straight from the bottle. Lay large areas of a vehicle down in two thin coats over a primer - it then covers more evenly than one thick coat. A flat surface is an ideal base for washes and pigments.
For modelers of military vehicles, figure painters and diorama builders - everywhere a dependable flat olive green in acrylic is needed.
Keep out of the reach of children. Ensure enough ventilation when spraying and protect your airways. Shake well before use and close the bottle carefully after the work.
