Empty plastic bottles of 30 ml with a dosing neck. One important point right at the start: the package contains no paint. They are containers into which you pour a shade you have mixed yourself, thinned paint, thinner, varnish or a wash. The neck releases the liquid drop by drop, so the thinning ratio can be measured out without a pipette and the contents do not spill while you work. The 30 ml volume is a working size for one painting session; the range also has larger variants for stock mixes and thinners.

Use

• Storing your own mixes: write the mixing ratio on the label straight away, otherwise you will never put the same shade together a second time.
• Dividing a large package of thinner or varnish into a smaller working bottle, so that the stock does not evaporate and get contaminated needlessly.
• Paint thinned in advance for the airbrush: what you prepare in the evening you just shake in the morning and spray.
• Drop a stainless steel or glass mixing ball inside; settled pigments will then mix in markedly faster.
• Wipe the thread and the neck before closing, because dried paint glues the cap on and blocks the neck.
• With solvent-based paints and thinners we recommend a short compatibility test before you store a larger amount in the bottle.
