A light translucent red shade from the CL range, intended for toning a base coat and for painting clear parts.

A light translucent red. The word Clear in the names of modeling paints separates translucent shades from opaque ones: the paint does not hide what is underneath, it tints it. The qualifier Pale says that this is a weaker, lighter variant which shifts the tone only slightly and takes more coats before the surface closes up.
For clear parts, meaning tail and position lights, reflectors or covering glass, where the shape of the part should show through. Over a silver or chrome base it gives a rich glossy surface that reads as metal rather than matte. It is also used for gently toning surfaces that have already been sprayed, for deepening shadows and for slightly warming light shades without the surface disappearing under the paint.
Stir the paint thoroughly and lay it on in several very thin coats; translucent shades build up gradually and one heavy coat pools unevenly. Let each coat become tacky before you add the next. Use the thinner and the thinning ratio according to the manufacturer's instructions for this range, as a thinner from another range can curdle the paint. The base must be smooth and glossy, because on a matte surface a translucent paint looks cloudy. A brush is harder to work with than an airbrush, because visible edges remain after each stroke.
The model, thinner, varnish and tools are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
