Agama patina wash WS 03 light gray

A patina wash from the Czech maker Agama in the WS line, that is solvent-based and thinned with mineral spirits. It is a ready liquid patina, prepared for use, that picks out engraved detail, flows into recesses and creates soft shadows. The light gray shade suits light surfaces above all, where the effect is only to be hinted at, the upper surfaces of aircraft, or discreet grime without marked darkening.

Use

• Apply it on dry varnish, ideally matte or semi-matte, which spreads the wash better.
• Lay it into recesses, panel lines and around detail with a brush.
• Let it go touch-dry and wipe the excess off with a cloth or a cotton swab moistened with mineral spirits.
• The intensity can be built up gradually in several layers.
