Pilot figures in winter uniform in 1:32 scale, set number 18 are 3D printed figures from Temp Models. An addition to a model, not a model of an aircraft.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set brings 3D printed figures of Russian Air Force pilots in winter uniform in 1:32 scale from Temp Models. The figures will add a crew to a finished model and at the same time a season of the year, because winter equipment is recognized on a figure at once. It is not a model of an aircraft but figures to go with one.
In winter a pilot wears warm outer clothing over his flight equipment, which he takes off or unfastens before getting into the cockpit. On the apron he therefore appears in a combination you will not see in summer: a fur collar or cap over the flight suit and gloves that he pulls off before checking the paperwork. On a figure in a large scale this layering gives more volumes and offers work with the differences between materials when painting.
The parts are printed from resin and are held only by thin supports. Cut them off with a sharp scalpel as close to the part as possible, sand the marks down with fine sandpaper and protect your airways while sanding. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Paint holds longer on a smooth print if you lay a thin coat of primer under it. Paint the figures in layers from the base tone toward the light edges, and leave the face and the hands for last.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the model aircraft are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
