Precision Masking Tape 1.5 mm x 18 m is a narrow Hobby 2000 masking tape for sharp paint transitions and straight edges.

A roll of yellow masking tape 1.5 millimeters wide and 18 meters long. It is made for defining edges before spraying: it holds firmly at the border but pulls off without residue and without lifting the dried paint underneath it. It is supplied as a single roll in a bag with a paper header card.
The surface must be clean, degreased and completely dry. Press the tape's edge down with a toothpick or a blunt stick so paint does not seep underneath, and spray several thin coats directed across the edge. Remove the tape shortly after the paint has set, slowly and folded back over itself at an acute angle.
For anyone who sprays multi-color camouflage, dividing lines on car bodies, or who masks glazed parts. A width of 1.5 millimeters is a reasonable compromise between handling and coverage, so it is worth keeping as a staple and supplementing it as needed with narrower and wider rolls from the same family.
Store the roll in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources, so the adhesive layer does not age. Paints, thinners and other masking material are not included in the package.
