This is a 3D-printed (resin) detail part from 3DF — a pilot's seat for the German fighter Messerschmitt Bf 109G Gustav in 1:48 scale. It is not an aircraft model, but a cockpit part that upgrades the interior of a plastic kit. The seat belts are rendered as separate fine parts, so they look more realistic than belts molded in one piece with the seat — they can be accurately arranged and painted separately. The set is shaped for the Eduard Bf 109G kit, which you must own.
The pilot's seat is one of the most visible features in a well-lit cockpit. Fine 3D printing captures the shape of the shell and the texture of the belts more accurately than the coarser part in the box, and it lifts the overall impression of the model. The Bf 109G Gustav was the main production version of the German Messerschmitt Bf 109 fighter.
Carefully separate the part from the print supports, clean it up and wash off any residue. It is glued with cyanoacrylate (super glue). Apply a primer before painting, spray the seat with an airbrush and paint the belts separately; highlight the details with a wash. If the Eduard kit supplies belts as photo-etched parts, they can be combined with this set. Use respiratory protection when sanding resin.
This is a detail part for the cockpit, not a standalone kit. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
