The American field radios BC-659 and BC-620 of the Second World War in 1:72 scale. Small separate parts for dioramas and interiors, supplied unpainted.
Responsibility details are not available.
The BC-659 and the BC-620 were American field radios used during the Second World War. The box-shaped set with a control panel on the front could be mounted in a vehicle or carried in a man-pack pattern, so a unit stayed in contact even away from fixed positions. In a scene such a set gives the diorama sense and a story.
The set brings the radios designated BC-659 and BC-620 in 1:72 scale as separate parts. They earn their place by a vehicle, on an airfield apron, in a command post scene or beside figures. Being free-standing equipment, the accessory is not tied to any particular kit.
In 1:72 scale it is a thin coat of paint that decides. Spray the degreased parts with the base as finely as possible, so that the markings of the front panel stay visible, and only suggest the details with the tip of a brush. A darker glaze in the joints gives the box depth. Dose the super glue with the tip of a toothpick.
The accessory is meant for modelers of small scenes and vehicles in 1:72 scale who want to equip a scene with something other than another vehicle. The work cannot be done without tweezers and a magnifier. The package holds no model, figures, paints or glue, unless stated otherwise.
