With a kit you buy parts and do the work yourself; with the finished model HG4101 from Hobby Master you get the result. The model is assembled, painted and marked in the factory, so it is not worked on but displayed. That is also why glue, filler and paints do not come into it with this product.
The structure rests on metal parts, and the finer shapes are plastic. The metal gives the model weight, the plastic allows thin features that would come out heavy in metal. The surface has a factory finish and printed markings, over which nothing else is applied.
The best place is a closed display case, which protects the model from dust, or a shelf out of reach of direct sunlight. Remove dust dry with a soft brush, because solvents and cleaning agents damage a factory surface. When carrying it, hold the model by the body.
The model aims at collectors of military vehicles who are assembling a display case of finished pieces, and at anyone interested in military history without modeling equipment. It will also serve modelers as an addition to a collection beside kits they have built themselves. The package holds the model on its own; paints, glue and a display case are not part of it, unless stated otherwise.
