A set of three American M1919 Browning .30 caliber machine guns with the mount designated D7431 in 1:35 scale. An accessory to models of vehicles and to dioramas.
Responsibility details are not available.
The M1919 Browning is an American air-cooled machine gun of .30 caliber, that is 7.62 mm. You will recognize it by the perforated jacket around the barrel. In the Second World War and long afterwards it was among the most widespread American weapons; it served as an infantry machine gun and as the armament of vehicles, and a whole range of chassis and mounts carried it. It is the choice of mount, though, that changes most how the weapon looks on a model.
The package contains three pieces of the machine gun with the mount that bears the designation D7431. Three pieces will do for fitting out several vehicles in one diorama, or they allow one part to be sacrificed while trying a painting procedure out.
First wash the parts in lukewarm soapy water and let them dry perfectly, or the coat will curdle. Try the assembly dry and dose the glue in minute drops, because an excess floods the fine relief. Apply the paint in thin coats, so that the grading of the surface stays apparent.
The set suits modelers of military vehicles who want to replace the coarser weapon from a kit on a vehicle, and builders of dioramas. The model of the vehicle, paints and glue are not part of the package, unless stated otherwise.
