The front fork is a pair of telescopic legs that hold the front wheel and connect it through the triple clamp to the handlebars. On a motorcycle it is the most conspicuous part right after the engine and the fairing: the fork legs are long, straight and glossy, so every unevenness and the slightest deviation from the axis shows up at once. That is exactly why it is replaced by a separate set on models in 1:9 scale.
The name gives four kits the fork is intended for, by their designations: MT-011, MT-011s, MT-012 and MT-012S. Go by that, because the set is not a universal replacement for any model you like. It is a detail part for motorcycle models. How many parts the package holds, whether the assembled fork moves and how the parts are joined are given in the manufacturer's instructions.
Dry-fit the parts first and stand the model on a flat board: both legs must be the same length and the wheel must stand square, otherwise the finished motorcycle will visibly lean. The glossy surfaces of the legs call for a genuinely smooth finish, because gloss brings out even the small scratches that a matte paint would hide. The set is an addition to a build. The motorcycle kit itself, paints, glue and tools are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
