A kit of the MH-6J Little Bird light helicopter in 1:35 scale, meant to be assembled and painted.
Responsibility details are not available.
The MH-6J Little Bird is a light helicopter with a glazed cabin and skid landing gear, derived from a small observation machine. The nickname Little Bird caught on so well with this type that it is used more commonly than the letter designation itself. Thanks to its small dimensions it can put down where larger machines have nowhere to go, and so it serves to move small groups quickly, to carry messages and to scout.
This is a kit in 1:35 scale, a plastic model of a helicopter. For such a small machine that is an unusually large scale, so even a small helicopter comes out a decent size and the cabin, the mounting of the skids and the layout of the tail boom all stand out on it. The number of parts, the color versions offered and the extent of the decal sheet differ between individual editions, so go by the manufacturer's information.
Fit the parts together dry before gluing; with a helicopter that pays off above all at the joint between the cabin and the tail boom. The glazing covers a large area and a great deal depends on it: glue it with a cement intended for clear parts and mask it before spraying. Leave the skids and the main rotor blades until the end, so that they are not in the way while you work on the model. Sand the joints on the fuselage with fine paper once they have dried, and wash and degrease the surface before spraying, so that the paint holds well. Choose the shades according to the references for the version you have picked.
A kit is supplied. Paints, glue, filler and add-on sets are not part of it, unless stated otherwise.
