The Titans Hobby riveting tool serves to create regular rows of rivets on the surface of plastic models. The set contains three interchangeable toothed wheels 8.5 mm in diameter with rivet spacings of 0.35, 0.40 and 0.45 mm. The smaller diameter of the wheels makes work easier in valleys and on broken surfaces, where a large wheel is hard to guide. The wheel is run over the surface of a part and presses fine, regular riveting into it.

Use

• Fit the wheel with the spacing you want and guide it with even pressure along the line, ideally against a ruler or a template.
• Try the technique and the pressure out on an offcut first.
• Smaller wheels suit rounded and cramped places.
• Sand any flash left after riveting down gently.

Who it is for

For advanced modelers who want to restore or add fine riveting and need several spacings in one set. Interchangeable wheels give freedom in choosing the density of the rivets.

The spacing and the diameter of the wheels are parameters of the tool, not the scale of a model.
