Figures of aircraft technicians in 1:72 scale, set number 9, two pieces are 3D-printed figures from Temp Models.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of two 3D-printed resin figures of Russian Air Force ground crew in 1:72 scale from Temp Models, carried as set number 9. The number of pieces is given by the name itself. They are not pilots but technicians. It is not an aircraft model but figures that give a diorama its action and its sense of scale.
A pair of figures is a rewarding combination in a diorama: two people together always suggest some activity, whether shared work on an aircraft or the passing on of information. Technicians on the flight line rarely move about alone, though, because most of the tasks around a combat aircraft call for more hands. The working clothing is simple, so the figures do not pull attention away from the model.
The parts are held only by the thin supports from the print. Cut them off with a sharp scalpel as close to the part as possible, sand the marks with fine abrasive paper and protect your airway while sanding. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Lay a thin coat of primer under the paint. With a pair of figures in a scene, keep the same shade of overalls, so that they plainly belong together.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the aircraft model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
