Responsibility details are not available.
A resin set of plugs and chocks for a model of the Yak-130 trainer in 1:48 scale from the Russian brand Temp Models. It holds the equipment that the ground crew puts on a parked machine: covers for the openings on the airframe and chocks that keep the aircraft from moving. The set is printed in resin and belongs with a finished model; it is not a kit.
The Yak-130 is a two-seat trainer and light combat aircraft on which pilots prepare for the step up to current combat machines. At training airfields it flies in quick succession and between the shifts it stands parked on the flight line, so covering the air intakes and securing the wheels are part of the daily routine. On a model this equipment captures the atmosphere of a training base well.
Release the parts from the supports with a new blade over a working surface. Sand the mating faces, so that a cover sits tightly. Wash the resin in lukewarm soapy water before painting. Training machines tend to be well kept and clean, so keep the weathering restrained and let the vivid colors of the covers stand out.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
