A work stand from the Russian manufacturer Temp Models, made of acrylic glass. The manufacturer describes it as its own branded jig for building display aircraft models, which makes the work easier and at the same time markedly lifts the quality of photographs and videos of the model. It is neither a kit nor an add-on set of parts for a model.
While building and photographing a model you need to hold the fuselage in one position and not lay it down on a freshly painted surface. That is what a jig, that is a work stand into which the model is seated, is for. Transparent acrylic glass almost disappears in a photograph, so the model looks as if it were floating and the background stays clean. On top of that the modeler does not have to pick the finished piece up needlessly.
Acrylic glass is sensitive to solvents, so neither thinner nor super glue must touch it: both will cloud or attack it. Clean it only with lukewarm water and a drop of dish soap and a soft cloth, never with methylated spirits or acetone. Take the protective film off slowly so that the surface does not get scratched. Fine scuffs can be polished out with a mild polishing compound for plastics.
The stand is supplied on its own, without a model and without further accessories, unless stated otherwise.
