AK Interactive Splatter Effects Dirt

An acrylic texture product from AK Interactive in the Splatter Effects line, intended for creating splattered dirt and settled grime on vehicles, dioramas and vignettes. Its consistency is tuned so that it can be applied strategically in chosen places, above all on the undersides of vehicles, in the wheel arches and on the lower areas where mud and dust build up in reality. It creates a convincing texture of accumulated dirt.

Use

• Apply it with a brush straight onto the surface, or create a splatter by flicking the paint off the brush with a stick or with a jet of air from the airbrush.
• Suitable above all for the undersides, the wheel arches and the lower edges of vehicles and for the surface of the terrain.
• Thin it as needed with water or an acrylic thinner for better spreading and a finer splatter.
• Let it dry; the effect can be tuned further with pigments and washes.
