About product

Gunze Mr. Cotton Swab ST-03 Extra Fine (50 pcs)

A set of 50 modeling cotton swabs from the Japanese brand Gunze (Mr. Hobby) in the Extra Fine form, with an extra fine, slim pointed tip of lint-free cotton. These are not cosmetic swabs from a drugstore: the tip is firm, precisely shaped and resistant to thinners and solvents, so it does not fall apart or shed fibers when working with modeling chemicals. The slim tip is meant for the smallest and most precise work.

Use

  • Wiping the excess wash and panel line paint away precisely in a small space: the color stays in the groove and you take it cleanly off the surface.
  • Work in the smallest places: narrow seams, fine details, the eyes of figures.
  • Spot touch-ups and cleaning on a small area, where a standard swab would be too coarse.
  • Precise blending of pigments and fine polishing of details.

Who they are for

  • Modelers working with fine details, figures and cramped places.
  • Anyone who needs the precision of a slim tip that resists thinners.
  • For ordinary work on larger areas the standard ST-01 is the better choice; the two sizes suit different jobs and work together.

An aid for modeling work. Keep out of the reach of small children.

FAQ

The ST-03 has a markedly finer, slimmer tip for the smallest and most precise work: narrow seams, small details, the eyes of figures. The ST-01 is the standard size for ordinary work. The two complement each other well.

No. Unlike cosmetic swabs they resist thinners and solvents and do not shed fibers.

To wiping the excess wash and panel line paint away precisely in a small space and to work in places where an ordinary swab would be too coarse.
