A board of high-density foam measuring 350 x 250 mm and 4 mm thick. It belongs among materials for dioramas, that is among items from which you make the structure, the terrain or the base yourself. The name of the line refers to a wall and the most common use of dense foam matches that: surfaces into which masonry, fallen render or paving is scribed.
Four millimeters is the thicker of the two available thicknesses. A wall made from it comes out self-supporting, so it can be built as a free-standing ruin, and the deeper material takes bolder relief: a broken edge, missing bricks or deep joints. Keep the thinner 3 mm variant for cladding, paving and partitions, where a thicker board would look oversized in scale.
Cut with a sharp knife along a ruler, and in several light passes instead of one heavy one, otherwise the edge will buckle. Set the joints out in pencil first and only then press them in with a blunt point: you are taking material away from the foam and cannot put it back. Not every glue and not every thinner gets on with foam; some attack it. Test both on an offcut, let them dry and only then work on the structure itself. Before painting, the surface is usually sealed with a unifying coat.
For builders of dioramas and display scenes in any scale and for those who want to make a wall or terrain to fit the scene instead of hunting for a ready-made part.
The model, figures, paints, glue and tools are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
