Amethyst Purple in the light grade: the purple metal of the True Metallic Metal system for polished surfaces, gems and decorative hardware.
Responsibility details are not available.
An amethyst purple tone with a metallic sheen is used everywhere a surface is to recall polished stone set into metal, or metal itself recolored into purple. It appears on decorative hardware, on grips, on the wings of insect creatures and on areas that are meant to act precious. The bottle contains the light grade of the system, that is, the tone applied last and only to a small part of the surface.
Besides the individual shades the range includes a starter selection, a broader basic set and a case with the whole system. The difference between them lies mainly in how many shades you get at once and how long they will last you. When you know exactly which color you need, a single bottle leaves nothing unused. If you are only finding out how the metallic system is painted, a ready-made selection contains shades completed by accessories and instructional material, so you get into the technique faster. For topping up as you go you come back to the individual bottles anyway.
Purple metal pigments are among the finer ones, so apply the paint in thin coats and give it time to set up between them. The ground should be smooth and degreased; unevenness of the surface shows up at once with metallic paints, because it breaks the reflection. Close the container carefully after work, or the contents will dry in the neck and the dropper will clog.
