True Metallic Metal SHADE - Beetle Green

Vallejo True Metallic Metal SHADE, Beetle Green

A colored metal shade from the True Metallic Metal (TMM) line, the SHADE sub-line. It is a heavily pigmented, water-thinnable acrylic ink that is layered over the base metallic paint and tints it without suppressing the metal sheen. The Beetle Green shade is a saturated green with a metal cast recalling the wing cases of beetles, suited to candy effects and colored shading. It comes in an 18 ml dropper bottle. Within the TMM system it combines with the BASE, the LIGHT and the airbrush version.

Use

• Applied as a translucent colored coat over a gloss metal base layer for a green candy effect.
• It can be thinned with water or a medium for finer shading and for running into detail.
• It keeps the sheen of the surface underneath rather than dulling it.
• Shake thoroughly before use, as the pigment sinks to the bottom.
• Apply colored and metal layers toward the end, as they are harder to mask and to overspray.

Who it is for

For painters of fantasy, historical and wargaming figures who want saturated green metal effects with the sheen preserved.

Water-thinnable acrylic, non-toxic, practically odorless. Shake the bottle before use. Keep out of the reach of children.
