A plastic kit in the so-called egg model (Compact) style from Freedom Model Kits. It is a caricatured, shortened and rounded model of the F/A-18F Super Hornet carrier fighter that builds quickly and has no conventional scale. The package offers two pilot figures, a multi-part opening clear canopy, external stores and an extending arrestor hook. The decals included let you build an aircraft of VFA-103 Jolly Rogers, famous for its skull and crossbones emblem.
The F/A-18F Super Hornet is the two-seat version of the American carrier-borne multirole fighter of the US Navy. It serves both to win air superiority and to attack ground and surface targets, and it operates from aircraft carriers. VFA-103 Jolly Rogers is one of the best-known squadrons thanks to its striking skull emblem.
Use a thin plastic cement and glue the clear canopy with canopy glue. Even though this is an egg model, it comes into its own with careful painting, panel line accents and the colorful squadron decals. Finish the external stores and the hook at the very end of the build.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
