Model Craft fine self-locking stainless steel tweezers with serrated jaws will keep a small part gripped even without finger pressure, so your hands stay free for gluing.

It is not a kit and not an accessory to a model, but a modeling tool. These are straight stainless steel tweezers about 160 mm long with pointed, finely serrated jaws. The locking action is the key: the tweezers work in reverse, so once closed they hold the part by themselves and you do not have to press on them. The material is antimagnetic and acid-resistant, which comes in handy when working with photo-etched parts, with etchants and with glues.
The serration raises the friction on the contact surface, so a smooth plastic or metal part will not slip out of the jaws even under light pressure. Be careful with finished painted parts, as the serrations can leave an imprint in soft varnish; on varnished surfaces it is better to use tweezers with smooth jaws or a pad.
For plastic modelers, builders of figures and of railway models, for electronics and for fine craft work. The self-locking type will be appreciated above all by anyone who works a lot with cyanoacrylate glue and needs to hold a part in position until the joint sets.
The tips of the tweezers are sharp. Store them out of reach of children and protect the points from being dropped and from leverage loads, which will bend them.
