A flat brush in size 6 with a squared-off head. It suits even application over areas, glazes and the dry-brush technique.
Responsibility details are not available.
A flat brush has its hair cut to a straight edge and carries more paint than a round brush of the same size. The stroke therefore comes out even and without streaks, which suits large areas of a fuselage, a hull or a base. The straight edge also lets you run a clean transition along the edge of a part, so it works even where a round brush would stray.
The number gives the size within the range; on flat brushes it governs the width of the head. A six is among the medium sizes, that is the ones a modeler reaches for most often: it covers a larger area in one pass and still gets in between shapes. The numbering does not match between makers, so compare by the actual width of the head.
Do not let paint dry in the brush and clean it right after work with the thinner intended for the paint you used. Never leave a brush standing hair down in a jar; the head bends and will not straighten again. Once cleaned, shape the hair back to its original edge with your fingers and let it dry lying flat or hair up. Keep a different, older brush for mixing paints, putties and glues.
Paints, thinner and other tools are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
